How Kissing Strengthens Your Baby Health?

Kissing and bonding with your little bundle of joy plays an important role in your newborn baby’s neurological and psychological development. Meanwhile, kissing strengthens his or her immune system as your baby becomes accustomed to bacteria. This has the effect of enabling your baby’s immune system to heal much faster from future colds and infections. Most amazing of all, close physical contact has a calming effect on your baby while reducing his or her perception of pain to a significant degree. Those are the results of an experiment held at the prematurely born department of Bliss Hospital in Montreal which examined over 60 babies’ pulse rate, level of oxygen and facial expressions while also having blood samples taken.

By way of reinforcing the bond between you and your baby, close interactions does ultimately help you cope better with the stress of having to intensively care for him or her. A feeling of understanding your baby much better does arise overtime as you bond further and further with your baby. The result is calmer and more self-confident babies and mums.
